Employment Enhancement Initiatives

The market is changing rapidly and so is the outlook and expectations of the industry and students alike. SITE has done extensive research and identified ‘Rural unemployed youth’ segment. Most of the rural youth discontinue their studies after SSC and hardly 50% of them pursue intermediate. The lack of academic qualification and skills that are required by the current market makes them very unsuitable to get the employment in the companies to support their livelihood. In despair, they work as daily wage earners in the un-organized sectors, agriculture etc with which they hardly make the two ends meet. As an effort from SITE, we wanted to impart training to these youth on the core skills and personality development which will fetch them entry level jobs in the various companies.

The certificate courses are designed keeping in mind the current skills required by the banking and telecommunications and IT industry etc and generally by the market, so as to make the participants ‘ employable’ in a short duration and thereby supporting their livelihood quickly
